Industrial automation, in terms of quality, can be divided into two parts; process and motion control. PLC, HMI, motor drives, encoders, and sensors are components where utilized in industrial automation.

An automation system represents an output collection that is generated through a software package designed under certain conditions taking into account the alerts received from peripheral inputs and the operation characteristics.

PLC (Programmable Logical Controller): It is an automation device utilized in the production departments or processes such as machine control. Unlike typical computers, the PLC contains several inputs and outputs (I/O) both digital and analogue. Hardware features on the PLC, depending on the area of use, are selected for each customer and allow the machine to be controlled as required.

HMI (Human-Machine Interface): The human-machine interface abbreviated as HMI is a software package that enables the user to interact between the machine and the production plant. Operator provides digital control over this entire process by reverting complex data in the production process.

Motion Control Systems: Motion Control apply with technologies associated with the object motion and electric motors developed for animation of machine components using various technologies. They are indispensable for robotic and CNC systems.

Motor Control Applications: It is highly important to control and monitor commonly used electric motors. These motors provide a considerable deal of mechanical power. It is necessary to check whether the mechanical power is at the desired level. These checks are critical for optimal efficiency.
